But deep down, I know that they only want what's best/good/ideal for me. They push me to be better/improve myself/reach my full potential, and they always have my back/side/interest at heart.

Sometimes/On occasion/Whenever possible, I try to talk to them like a friend/human being/real person. I let them know how their copyright make me feel/impact me/affect my emotions, and I ask them to be more compassionate/understanding/gentle with me. Most of the time, they listen, and we work things out. After all, even critics/difficult people/negative personalities deserve a little love/kindness/compassion.
